Our Services

Our team of licensed professionals provides individualized medical and emotional support needed during your recovery. These services include:

Anodyne TherapyAn infrared therapy system to increase circulation and reduce pain, stiffness, and muscle spasms. Anodyne Therapy is performed by a Physical Therapist.

Collection of Blood and Urine SpecimensSkilled nurses will collect blood and urine specimens for disease management per doctor’s order.

Observation of Blood Pressure & Vital SignsA skilled nurse will perform Blood Pressure checks while monitoring your vitals and observe any changes.

Use of Breathing MachinesA skilled nurse will give instructions on the proper use of a breathing machine and the medication to control respiratory symptoms.

Bathing, Shampooing, EtcProvided by a Home Health Aide and is based upon patient’s needs.

Medication TeachingIn depth medication teaching and monitoring to ensure resolution of acute illness and management of disease process.

Disease Process ManagementA skilled nurse will instruct on proper use of medication and monitor for progression of disease.

Pain ManagementA skilled nurse will assess pain level, give instruction on pain management techniques, and notify physician of poorly controlled symptoms if applicable.

Advance Wound Care/Dressing ChangesA skilled nurse will assess wound for infection as well as provide and change wound care dressing as ordered by the physician.

Diet TeachingA skilled nurse will discuss dietary needs and restrictions to help manage the disease process.

Post-operative CareA skilled nurse will assess and instruct on ways to prevent complications following surgeries. The nurse will also assess incision sites to ensure proper healing.

I.V. Fluids / I.V. MedicationsA skilled nurse can administer and provide instruction on proper home administration of IV antibiotics and IV fluids.

Feeding TubesA skilled nurse will instruct on administration of feeding via feeding tube and also instruct on equipment use.

InjectionsA skilled nurse can administer various types of injections such as antibiotics, vitamin B-12, and psychological medication.

Diabetic CareA skilled nurse will instruct on diabetes management including diet, checking blood sugar, and monitoring for any complications.

Foot CareA skilled nurse will perform monthly foot care for patients with diabetes and circulatory problems.

Ostomy CareA skilled nurse will provide in-depth instructions on management of different types of ostomy such as colostomy, urostomy, and tracheostomy.

Post-stroke & Post-fractures RehabilitationA skilled nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech therapist is available to provide an in-depth home rehabilitation program to allow patients to return to their fullest potential.

Prosthetic TrainingPhysical therapists and occupational therapists are available to provide various types of prosthetic limb training to help perform daily activities independently.

Medical Supplies / EquipmentHome health staff members can obtain orders from a physician and arrange for needed medical supplies and equipment.

KCI Ready Care Wound VACWound VAC is a negative pressure wound device used for pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, and other various types of ulcers. The KCI Wound VAC is available in our Home Health Office for use after insurance authorization is obtained.
